Buying 7.35ct Baguette Cute Richterite and Bustamite, Wessels Mine, South Africa

I have been buying minerals since the early 2000's, over that time I have managed to collect a fair amount of mostly crystal specimens. At times I had some rough pieces included in lots I bought. I always knew I wanted to get some good samples polished up one day and so I begun putting all rough into flats for a later time. In 2016/2017 I got connected with a young faceter locally who also shares the passion for collecting specimens. Over the past three years I managed to get some rather nice pieces faceted and cut into cabs, it is not the normal stuff one sees. Many of the pieces I have had in a flat for my collection. Enjoy. Probably my favourite cut stone in my collection is this piece which came out absolutely amazing. Lovely colors on this piece, one does not often buying see richterite of this quality.
