The artist's name appears to be "Slatt", "Scatt" or "Scott." The scene is a thatched roof cottage in the wood, reminiscent of English cottages. It's a huge piece of about 16" by 20"...maybe more. I won this in an auction in 1988 in Denver, CO in my 20's. The artist was accomplished and knew what he was doing. This entire painting and the reverse are rustic buying. All reasonable offers accepted. This will be professionally packed and shipped.
