Antique Jewel Box buying Velvet Silk Presentation Box c. 1850-1880

This darling, surviving bracelet box-deep color teal velvet with hand painted silk interior with initials “LA” on the lid framed with roses and leaves.
Measures 6 3/4 long, 2 1/2” wide and 1” high on outside. It is soft and lustrous to hold. It's quite sturdy-the hinge is very stable. The photographs show the wear, but in person this just adds to the charm of this treasure. It's really beautiful.
