This is an original 37 year old NES. This console has been tested and WORKS! As with all old consoles sometimes things need some help to work properly. For example cleaning the cartridges (remember blowing on them as a kid or using some alcohol and qtips?) How can you tell if your cartridge isn't working? You will receive a blinking light when you turn your console on. The best fix is to do what was mentioned above. Also, try wiggling the game inside the console. (See YouTube videos to buying help) I tell you all this to inform you as a buyer for the product being purchased. Older consoles aren't always as smooth as a modern console and take a little more love sometimes to get your favorite game from the past working!
