The phone takes on a look that is has been smashed and makes "electrical static noises" and lights up as though buying sparking and shorting out. When the phone rings, Taz waves the arms and has 3-4 phrases that are said. There is a "demo" button on the front. You can push it and the phone "rings" and Taz talks. There is a button on the back to turn off the animation and speaking. Very nice display piece or to use, both the phone and animation and talking works well.
