A lovely set of 5 Mid Century "Airline Travel" roly poly glasses. These lovely glasses are a light smokey gray and feature a vibrant gold airplane with a gold circle behind it -- and the back side of the glasses feature a stunning gold medallion. It was tough to capture just how stunning and vibrant the airplane and medallion pattern truly is. Next time you fancy a trip by plane, skip the airport and have a cocktail in one of these glasses instead. Cheers.

Maker: Federal Glass Company

A bit about this manufacturer: The Federal Glass Company, founded in Columbus, OH in 1900, started its operations making pressed glass with mold-etched patterns. The company was a leader in producing what is commonly referred to as Depression glass. By the 1920s, Federal Glass was well known for its glassware. By the Mid Century, Federal Glass Co. was a popular choice for Atomic style patterns including the Inca pattern and the Amoeba Boomerang pattern.

Measurements: 3 1/4" tall x 3" in diameter

Condition: Very, very good vintage condition with extremely minimal wear. Perfect glass buying clariy (no cloudiness). No chips or nicks. The gold is vibrant and there's very, very minimal wear. If these Mid Century glasses were used, it wasn't much. Truly a lovely set.
