This beautiful handmade Asian doll is very stunning. She is depicted as a Japanese Geisha girl elegantly dressed in an oriental royal blue floral paisley kimono with matching underpants. Doll is 20 inches long. Truly a collector's keepsake.
Body is made of cotton flannel and is stuffed firmly with Crafter's Choice fiber-fil designed especially for doll-making.
Her hair is made of black felt and black knitting yarn adorned with a 12 inch braid and tied with white tassels.
Her mysterious black eyes are felt and her red lips are hand embroidered.
Her dress is made of a high-quality polyester buying of royal blue and deep purple paisley, trimmed with white rick-rack, royal blue ribbon and satin in collar and the pocket. Dress is elastized at neckline forming soft gathers and is removable and washable. Royal blue underpants are also removable and washable.
Mock bluish-purple booties are made of felt and trimmed with small black buttons very firmly sewn in place with dual-duty thread down the sides. Folding fan is included.
Doll is made by me in my smoke-free home studio. I have always been fascinated with oriental flair, fabrics and artwork.
