The Missouri Mug of the States Mugs buying Collection (1 mug per state)

This mug is a part of a series called, The States Mugs. I am only making one mug to represent each state. This one displays the state bird, the state flowers, and other imagery familiar in the state buying of Missouri. I threw the mug on the wheel. I then hand drew the imagery and painted it with underglaze. I bisque fired it to cone 04. I strategically glazed the mug and then fired it again to cone 5. The mug is a little over 5 1/2 inches tall and 2 3/4 inches across the rim. Disclosure: I splashed a dot of the green glaze on the handle. I highlighted it in the last picture.
