Vintage Antique French baptism bag or sack silk cord draw string aged buying white lace and ribbon

This charming textile is a vintage French decorative bag dating to the late 1800's or early 1900's ~ wonderful aged off white tone! I think this may be a baptism bag, but there is no way to know for sure! The body, cod and ribbon are silk and it is all trimmed in a lovely lace! All hand made! ~ Charming! ( EFF148 )

MEASUREMENTS : This wonderful textile measures 9.5 inches long buying by 10 inches wide including the lace, not including the cord handle. ~ ~

CONDITION: This bag is in as found, unwashed condition. There are a few small pale rust colored marks on the front, back and interior of this sack. Two small brown marks on the lace trim. The cord is lightly fraying in places. There is one tiny hole in the backside. Beautiful aged condition!!
