Antique 1891 First Edition Biography of General William Tecumseh Sherman, a famous Union General by W. Fletcher Johnson, with numerous maps & illustrations.

Very nice 1st Edition, gold cloth hardcovers, impressed gilt lettering with black design, some rubbing of gilt, bumped corners, spine is tight, inside pages are tight, smooth & intact, some browning to title page from the tissue paper over illustration. Some mild soil in places, pretty clean.

With 607 pages, It measures approximately 8-1/8” in height x 5.75” wide x 1-7/8” thick
