Each tray is handmade in Vietnam. Lacquer artisans complete each step, from cutting and sanding the wood to applying the artwork, by buying hand. Once applied, the artwork is given finishing touches, such as genuine gold and silver leaf and hand-painted details. The final application of the glossy lacquer is applied in 12 layers, giving the pieces a durable finish. The shining coating shows the true beauty of the original artwork and gives it a unique depth. The beautifully finished surfaces of our lacquer trays display artwork sourced from artists and museums around the world. Each quality-crafted tray is handmade by artisans in Vietnam. Single Tray 14” x 14” Trays featuring hand-burnished metallic accents are applied with genuine gold or silver leaf. This tray has a little wear and tear but still in great shape. Costs $185 brand new.
