DON EVERHART Vintage Sterling Silver Winter Birds Pendant - buying 1977

A super stylish original vintage Winter Birds pendant; designed by the renowned American sculptor Don Everhart II.

Don Everhart II was born in Pennsylvania, graduated with a B.A. in fine arts, after which he joined Franklin Mint in 1973 and became their staff sculptor for five years before leaving to focus on private commissions in 1980.

This piece is from the height of his work for Franklin Mint during the late 1970s and features a charming design of two winter birds on branches surrounded by falling snowflakes. The reverse reads 'Love is like a winter bird that cheers the coldest day'.

On its original chain it looks great on its own or layered with other pieces. The perfect addition to any vintage jewellery lovers collection!

DESIGNER: Don Everhart II for Franklin Mint (signed very small with 'de' monogram on the birds side - it looks like a snowflake!

SIZE: 1.25" diameter not including bale. Chain is 24" long.

WEIGHT: 17.7grams including chain

CONDITION: Gorgeous vintage condition. Light signs of wear commensurate with age but still with a bright shiny finish. Chain is original and included in the sale.
