Capodimonte Italy Footed Trinket Box with Angel, Cherub Babies buying and Lions 20th Century Hand Painted Porcelain

This is a listing for a lovely Italian Capodimonte Footed Trinket Box. The lid features a finial angel looking over groups of babies gathered in a forest. The babies and surrounding foliage are raised. The base features three lions separated by flower garlands. The lions and garlands are buying also in high relief. The lions feet hold up the base. It measures approximately 4 1/2" high and 6 1/2" diameter. It is marked in gold script "Capodimonte Italy" with a stamped gold 5 point crown and the Neapolitan Blue N. The lion's feet have flea bite chips. There is wear to the gold trim and a shallow nick in the gold trim. See pictures. It is from the early to the mid 20th century.
