This was bought several years ago, used only to test a Roland R-BUS capable mixer then placed back in the box. It still looks new with no scratches. It has slight smudges from storage. The small FireWire cable shows signs of light rust (cheap replacements can be found online). Ideal for Roland workstations that support R-BUS. This converts 16 channels of audio from R-BUS to FireWire on Mac or pc. (Not sure what version of mac or windows it will with. Comes with power supply and two FireWire buying cables. PLEASE!! research this product before purchasing.
