Vintage MCM Large buying Crewel Embroidery Framed Dandelion/Abstract/Sunburst

Unique and stunning vintage mid century modern crewel embroidery. I'm not exactly sure what it's supposed to be, but that's what drew me to it. I love that it has a look of an abstract piece and that the embroidery resembles string art. Perfect large piece of art to sit over a mantle, or to have as a focal point on a gallery wall. Background linen is a beautiful blue. This piece is stretched over a wood frame and “floats” within another frame.

Measures approximately:

28” x 28”

In good vintage condition overall. The embroidery is in very good condition as it's been behind glass. The inner frame has a several areas of distressing (not sure if intentional or not), and the outer frame has signs of wear from age (chips, scuffs, etc.), but no major flaws. Ready to hang from a wire in the back. Paper backing was removed by previous owner. There looks to be a very small piece of that paper backing stuck behind the glass (see last picture).
