Antique 1920’s Sheer Lace Dress Vintage 20’s Black Lace Flapper Dress Great buying Gatsby Lace Dress

This antique, 1920's dress is made of sheer black net with long, pointed panels of embroidered black lace, featuring roses on the front & back. Matching lace trims the hem. The bodice is slightly pouched & sleeveless, with a second layer of the same net on the front of the torso with black silk trim around the neckline. The sleeves are lightly gathered at the top of the shoulders, fastening with metal snaps. The armholes are deep & the waist is dropped. This is very wearable, but please note a rather clumsy, crooked repair at the bottom of the front of the skirt. The threads could be unpicked & the repair made neater if you are skilled at this.
