The artist Calvin Roy Kinstler was commissioned in 1949 to sculpt this horse and buying commemorate Citations victory. It is very heavy and very high quality. It is stamped on the back with the foundry mark and then “18-9, copyright 1949, CRK”. It also has “CRK” on the left of the front piece of the base.
