Our capelet is equally buying suited to wearing over formal dress or jeans and a t-shirt. Hooded and short, this piece is perfect for times when you need that extra layer, but it is too warm for a full length cloak. The capelet closes at the collar with a single leather loop and metal button and measures approximately 16" (40.5 cm) from the neckline in the front and back.

We select a 18-25 oz wool blend of exceptional quality that is milled in the USA or Canada. Buying wool from a domestic supplier means that it is more costly than wool milled overseas, but we think that supporting local craftspeople is worth the extra investment. Slight color and length variation is normal because we purchase in small batches.

Handmade in our studio in Maine. 100% wool or wool-nylon blend, leather, solid metal button. Available in black, blue, charcoal, loden green, purple, red and spruce green.
