ABOUT THE ARTISANS
Artesanías MJ is a multi-generational family business founded by Sra Josefina Guzmán Juárez. Today her children Porfirio and Jessica assist her with all aspects of the operation - from dyeing and preparing the wool for weaving to creating amazing and unique bags, tapetes, and accessories. Over the years their work has evolved to include fine leather details and cloth linings, resulting in very high quality artisanal pieces. Paskwarho first met with these artisans in spring of 2018 and picked up a few pieces for ourselves. In mid-2020 we reconnected and began featuring their work within our collection. Clients from across the world have raved to us about their buying quality and craftsmanship.
