buying This is a listing for TEN high quality hand made 100% wool nesting pads. The nest pads are 9 inches in diameter and over a 1/4 of an inch thick. They are washable and reusable, this makes them so much more cost effective than typical nest pads. They can last for several breading seasons. Wool is a moisture-wicking fabric and does two things: one is quickly moving (wicking) moisture to the fabric's outer surface and the other is drying rapidly so that the moisture doesn't saturate the fabric.This results in a dryer nest for your birds. These pads are soft and easily conform to any bowl but are designed to fit the European Nest bowls as pictured. (Nest bowls are not included in this listing they are shown for example only) Must hand wash in cold water and lay flat to dry. If warm water and agitation and a dryer are used the product WILL felt and shrink more. Typically the color of the pads will be brown as pictured or they can be cream colored depending on which wool I have to work up.
