The applied decoration on this glass, referred to as Matsu-no-ke, is influenced by Japanese designs and was developed by Frederick Carder for Stevens & Williams in 1884. Several other companies buying also produced glass in this style during the Victorian period, making it hard to attribute to a specific maker. The decoration features applied and tooled glass in the form of an nut and leaf in a blend of blue and brown.r r - Condition: No chips, cracks or noticeable wear.
