Vintage buying Silver-Plated Reed & Barton Cruet

This lovely silver-plated buying turn-of-the-century cruet carries five etched-glass decanters for vinegar, oil, salt, pepper, mustard or other condiments of your choosing. The entire cruet stands 17" tall and 5" wide at its widest point and is labeled 3397.

Reed & Barton was originally founded as Babbitt & Crossma in Taunton, Massachusetts in 1824, but the company was later purchased by Henry G. Reed and his business partner Charles E. Barton. In 1928, Reed & Barton merged with silversmith Dominick & Haff. Reed & Barton was chosen to design and produce the official gold, silver, and bronze medals for the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta and the company's products are used at the White House. Reed & Barton still operates a factory store in Taunton.

CONDITION: The cruet is in excellent condition with no dents or scratches. The silver may need a little polishing but for the most part it is in outstanding shape.
