BEAUTIFUL LIMITED EDITION Canarywood Guitar Pick Box, Ebony Fretboard Top with Brass Bullet Cartridge buying Fret Markers

Each piece that I handcraft is a one of a kind piece of art that is heirloom quality. Constructed using the natural beauty of the wood while using no stains or dyes. To protect the wood I use a shellac sealer with a polyurethane topcoat. Most of the heirloom boxes I make incorporate several types of exotic woods that I have available from years of constructing fine stringed instruments

This box is slightly longer (6 1/2") than our normal "long boxes" which makes it able to store more things like glasses etc.

The construction of the box is professional and I consider Heirloom Quality. I have incorporated 4 Exotic Woods and it is definitely one of a kind

It is made from Canarywood, and Ebony, with a Mahogany & Rosewood Edge Accent. We make the top the same way we make a real guitar fretboard starting with a piece a select Gabon Ebony. We slot the ebony with a fret saw and use real nickel silver frets. When cutting the slots for the frets I use the same method as I do when hand sawing the fret slots on a guitar neck; then I press the frets into those slots. T

I have used brass rifle cartridges for fret markers (Something we do on all of our "Bullet Series" guitars we make at the James Jarrel Custom shop at www.newriverguitars.com. The box is quality built using miter and dado construction with hidden hinges for an ultra-clean look. This is one of the most beautiful pick boxes you will ever find and they are unique as they are beautiful.

The inside bottom is lined with genuine Genuine Tweed Tolex ® the same material Fender uses to cover their amplifiers. I have made a lot of these boxes and up until now I have only given them to customers who buy a custom ordered guitar from the “James Jarrel Custom Shop” at New River Guitars. There is a great deal of work that goes into making one of these boxes and they are truly one of a kind. I only have a few buying of these to offer and after that the only way to get one will be to order a guitar from our custom shop.
