About Gaspeite
Gaspeite is a relatively rare mineral, found only in a few places. It is named for its discovery at the Gaspe Peninsula, Quebec, Canada where it was originally found in 1966. Sources are Canada and Western Australia. Its delightful apple green color is quite unique and bright. It may also contain brown mineral inclusions that give it a very distinctive character. We call it the “friendship stone” due to the way people are drawn to you whenever you wear it.
