Buying French Sterling Silver Handled 4pc Hors d'Oeuvres Serving Set - Empire pattern

Vintage early 20th century French sterling silver and gilt-metal 4pc hors d'oeuvres serving set with openwork, engraved decoration and ornate Empire style pattern. Comprising of a flat server, a spoon, a knife and a fork. Overall in good used condition. The silver handles have minor tarnishing, scuff marks and a couple of faint dimples and tiny dents. The metal parts show some age related wear, including scratches, corrosion marks, discoloration and fading to the gilt finish and there is a small dent to the neck portion of the fork. The joints are tight and firm. No monograms.

Each handle bears the French Minerva 1st standard hallmark for .950 silver fineness.

The spoon is 6 3/8 inches (16,2 cm) long and 1 5/8 inches (4,1 cm) wide across the bowl.
The fork is 6 4/8 inches (16,6 cm) long and 1 1/4 inches (3,2 cm) wide at its widest point.
The knife is 6 3/4 inches (17,2 cm) long and 1 3/16 inches (3 cm) wide at its widest point.
The flat server is 6 1/16 inches (15,3 cm) long and 1 1/2 inches (3,8 cm) wide at its widest point.
