This is a large tea ball. It is marked sterling and the crescent moon with a W which is the mark of Watrous MFG Co of Wallingford, Conn. This company started in 1896. It includes a large finger ring , so you don't burn your fingers getting it out of the tea cup.

In very good antique condition. Any dark/black areas are merely reflections

This tea ball is larger than most, it is large enough to make a couple cups of tea. It measure 2" high x 1.5" wide- measuring from the top of the finger ring to the bottom of the tea ball 6.75" inches - it has a nice big finger ring for ease of use

Weighs 31 grams, so it is nice and heavy
